Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor and Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn launched a new TV Commercial of the brand during their visit to Cosmos lane, Bur Dubai outlet on Monday (19.08.13).

The duo along with their 'Satyagraha' director Prakash Jha addressed the huge crowd gathered at the venue.

The trio also visited the Malabar store in Bur Dubai area where Kareena admired the jewelry around the store & tried some as well.

The new TV commercial features Kareena which brings a wide range of latest jewllery from Malabar Gold in the market.

Few lucky fans got the oppurtunity to click pictures with Kareena and Ajay. The winner received a diamond ring from Kareena.

A stage was set up adjacent to the store where CITY FM RJs hosted the event and the Bhangra artists performed.

The security team had to work really hard to control the large gathering of crowd who came to see a glimpse of the superstars.

This is for the first time she is visiting any of the Malabar Gold & Diamonds store after being endorsed as their brand ambassador. Following the store visit, both the superstars staged and released the new TV Commercial.

'Satyagraha’, which releases across UAE cinemas today (Thursday), captures the uprising of the middle class against a corrupt and unjust system that leaves it with no recourse but to form a spontaneous movement to challenge the status quo.

In the film, Devgn plays a corporate honcho, while Kapoor essays the role of a political journalist. 

Earlier in the day Prakash Jha, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor  addressed a press conference and spoke extensively about their movie. The suprise package was co-star Amitabh Bachchan who interacted with the media via Skype.

The seventh season of Indian quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is set to start from September 6. Bollywood actor and host of the show, Amitabh Bachchan, gives his fans a sneak peek of the first day of the shoot.

The hugely popular show is in it's seventh season completing 13 years of successful run and canning over 500 episodes.

As the launch day approaches show host Amitabh Bachchan is experiencing the jitters.
 
"Its time for large butterflies as expressed on the Twitter early this morning, to appear in the intestines and the stomach muscles, for, KBC recordings start tomorrow ...," the actor posted on his blog on Monday.

KBC had gone through the rehearsals for the technical and the shoot took off from Monday (August 26).

Crediting the show's immense success to the audience and well-wishers, Amitabh wrote, "13 years on, and we still survive thanks mainly to the affection and patronage of all you that love and wish us unselfishly ..."

He continued, "My very sincere thanks to all those that express their greetings and wishes for the coming of another KBC season .. it has been now 13 years since its historic inception in year 2000 .. and it is your love and appreciation that has kept it alive for so many years .."

Each year KBC introduces new features in the show and fans expect to see something different this year too - maybe the room will swing around!

Amitabh wrote on his Facebook page, "KBC first day of recording .. butterflies and the desire for all to go well .. let us see ... some images of the day first and then as time goes by more shall appear ..

"KBC gets under way in style and material and intensity .. the love of the masses comes through and that brings us cheer..."

The latest edition of the show, which is based on international quiz show 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire', will promote the importance of learning and has the tagline which says 'Seekhna bandh toh jeetna bandh (No learning means no winning)'

The show started in 2000 and Big B has hosted five seasons of the show, except the third edition, which was hosted by actor Shah Rukh Khan.
