Arab film stars from Diff visit Global Village

A delegation of Arab film stars from the Dubai International Film Festival paid a visit to Global Village as part of a tour that shows off the most fascinating places in Dubai. The delegation included Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra; Haifa Hussein; Habib Ghuloom; Shahd; Mishari Al Ballam; Razifah Tarish; Malak; Abdul Aziz Al-Jassem; Ibrahim Al Harbi, and Rami Sabri.


On their tour of Global Village, the delegation was able to see the unique facades of each pavilion before entering the highly regarded Egyptian, Kuwaiti, and Iranian pavilions, amongst many more. The stars were also highly entertained by the wide range of street and stage shows on offer at Global Village.



The group also passed by the ‘I heart UAE’ structure to show their love for the UAE, and partook in buying padlocks so that they could join other visitors in locking their love for the UAE. Upon the end of the tour, the delegation was taken to Global Village’s premier Turkish restaurant ‘Bosporus’, where the stars enjoyed authentic Turkish cuisine ; from meat platters to desserts, all actors and actresses left full and happy.


The delegation showed admiration for the concept of Global Village and were amazed at there being a place in Dubai where so many countries of the world could come together in one place and celebrate all their cultures alongside each other. They also applauded Dubai for growing and becoming such a strong tourist destination.
