Reality TV star Kylie Jenner has claimed that she and boyfriend Tyga became 'best friends' before they started dating.

The 18-year-old star and her rapper boyfriend - who were recently rumoured to have split - have known each other for a number of years, and Kylie has revealed they were happy being pals before their relationship took a romantic turn.

She shared: "We just honestly ... We became best friends before anything happened so I think that, that's awesome and we're just like ... I don't know. Hanging out. Living life."

Kylie also rubbished speculation that she and the 26-year-old hip-hop star are no longer an item.

She told 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show': "No. We're not broken up."

This comes shortly after a source close to the celebrity couple claimed their relationship is "shaky".

The insider said: "Nothing is really set in stone. It's kind of up in the air.

"Kylie keeps throwing everybody off, including all of their friends. In theory, they're kind of done and not going to be together, but then she'll go and post a Snapchat of them holding hands.

"Everybody's super confused by it. There's not really an answer one way or another, but without question, the ball is in her court. Things are definitely shaky."

Kim goes South on North

Kim Kardashian West's increasingly-expanding baby bump means she's finding it difficult to carry her daughter North.

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star is due to give birth to her and husband Kanye West's second child, a son, next month and she is finding it increasingly difficult to attend to two-year-old North because of her growing frame.

She said: "She always wants me to pick her up and be with her and it's really hard to do a lot of the lifting and stuff like that, so that last month is not fun."

Kim - who has already gained 52lbs during her pregnancy - gave birth to North six weeks early and so is unsure what the final month will have in store for her, apart from waiting and gaining more weight.

She told E! News: "I think the last month is just waiting. I didn't get to experience the last month last time. You know I delivered almost six weeks early, so they say you gain your most weight at the end."

But as well as waiting, the 35-year-old beauty and her rapper husband need to come up with a name for her son.

She admitted: "I don't have names, which is so crazy. We just started talking about it and that was the last thing for us last time. So I feel confident obviously that we'll figure it out."

Kim's $1m push present

Kim Kardashian West has revealed she wants a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker as a push present when she gives birth to her second child next month.

The reality TV star is due to give birth to the couple's second child - a son - next month and revealed she would love a choker similar to the stunning Lorraine Schwartz one she recently wore to the Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles.

Writing on her website, Kim explained: "I like the idea of a push present - after nine months of pregnancy it's a sweet and well-deserved thank you. We women go through an entire pregnancy carrying a baby ... of course it only makes sense that we get something amazing to show how amazing we are! LOL!

"This pregnancy, I would love a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker like the ones I've worn before to the LACMA Art + Film Gala. Too much? LOL! (sic)."

Kim recently admitted being pregnant is "awful" but said she is thrilled to have finally conceived again, after fertility struggles following the birth of her daughter North, two.

She said: "I just don't think pregnancy and me really agree with each other.

(Bang)

"You know, it was really hard for me to get pregnant so I do feel really blessed that I am pregnant and, at the end of the day, it is a million times worth it.

"I'm really not complaining, I'm just being honest and being honest about [it]. I hate it. I'm not going to sit here and lie and act like it's the most blissful experience. It's awful."
