Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up, Philippines' Janine Tugonon seems to be enjoying her stay in the United States.
Her recent social media updates reveal that the beauty queen is adjusting to her new life and making some new friends.
Tugonon left the Philippines to pursue further studies.
While in US the former beauty queen will try her luck in Hollywood, while finishing her scholarship in New York Film Academy.
Tugonon will occasionally return to the country for work-related contractual obligations, but she will stay in the US for good.

The reality TV star Khloe Kardashian hit the gym to work on her fitness -- and the focus of this workout was definitely the derriere.
"Squat!!!!! Because no one ever wrote a song about a small *** right @gunnarfitness?" Khloe posted, along with a photo of her mid-squat.
Her post referred to Kanye West rapping about sister Kim Kardashian’s backside.

Augustine, son of Messi's brother Rodrigo, plays for FCB Escola, a Catalan club for children aged between six and 11.
