Kim Kardashian West has caused outrage after she was spotted playing on her phone during a moment of silence held as a tribute to the conflict in Ferguson.
The 33-year-old reality TV star and her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, 18 and 16 respectively, were blasted on Twitter by angry fans last night after they were caught staring at their mobiles during the period of reflection at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) held at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Mieke Olva Vlok posted: "Let's not pretend we're shocked the #Kardashian girls were texting during a moment of silence for #Ferguson at the #VMAs (sic)."
While Kid Codi, wrote: "I would pay TOP DOLLAR to see Kim Kardashian point out Ferguson on a map."
The emotional tribute was led by rapper Common, who had asked for the audience's undivided attention whilst they honour Michael Brown, who died after being shot by police in Ferguson, Missouri, earlier this month.

Common said: "I want us all to take a moment of silence for Michael Brown and for peace in this country and in the world."
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star are yet to comment on the backlash, but it is believed there may have been a delay in the footage being shown on television, which could mean they weren't using their phones at the time of the tribute.
North West's $1m wardrobe

North has also an expensive jewellery collection, including a ruby and pearl necklace that the rapper insured for $500,000 after he bought it in Paris.
The insider added to America's Star magazine: "Kanye gets such a thrill out of dressing her up, he's started calling her his mini muse. He's even talking about designing a clothing line for her."

When I got home from school, my snack was a bag of chips or cookies, and as an adult, I didn't even know what organic meant--I'd just go to the market and buy the same things my mom bought. "Starting off, I was big on breastfeeding; I nursed my first for 14 months and my second for 16. That was important to me. Then I began making their baby food myself, all of it organic. After that, I was super cautious about what to introduce into their diets."
P. Diddy set up French and Khloe
French Montana has revealed P. Diddy set up him and Khloe Kardashian after he asked for the reality star's number.
The 'Don't Panic' rapper insists rumours his girlfriend's brother-in-law Kanye West - who has 14-month-old daughter North with Khloe's sister Kim - introduced him to the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star are untrue and he got in touch with the former 'X Factor' host after asking the media mogul for her number.

He said: "Everybody thinks that [Kanye set us up], it was Puff. Puff was the one that introduced us... It was a studio session that's where we met and I was like yo let me get her number and Puff gave it to me."
The 29-year-old rapper - whose real name is Karim Kharbouch - has only been dating Khloe, 30, for a few months but says things are going well.

Asked how serious their relationship is by 'Extra' host Mario Lopez, he said: "Man, are you going to put me on the spot like that?... All good."

$90,000 crash... Kylie to blame?
Kylie Jenner was allegedly to blame for crashing her car last week, despite claiming it was the other driver's fault.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star reportedly made an illegal U-turn and smashed her $90,000 black Range Rover into an oncoming vehicle whilst driving through Katsuya in Glendale last Thursday.

The other driver's lawyer Gary Daglian also claims the 17-year-old beauty was "aggressive" towards his client after the smash and even tried to persuade the alleged victim to not call the police in exchange for money.
Mr. Daglian told gossip website TMZ.com the accident was so bad that his client even ended up in hospital.

However, Kylie had reportedly told her parents, Bruce and Kris Jenner, immediately after the crash that a woman swerved into her lane and rear ended her.
The accident resulted in thousands of dollars in damage to the fashion designer's SUV, which was believed to have been an early birthday present last month from her mother and father.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Kylie has been involved in a car crash as she also smashed up her $125,000 Mercedes SUV, which she received for her 16th birthday last year, shortly after passing her driving test in August 2013.
She has also allegedly received multiple traffic tickets since getting her licence 12 months ago.
Khloe's ex? Montana cool
French Montana doesn't believe there are any issues between him and Lamar Odom, despite dating his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian.

The 29-year-old rapper doesn't believe there are any hard feelings between him and his girlfriend Khloé Kardashian's ex-husband Lamar Odom, whom filed for divorce from in December following rumours he cheated on her and battled with cocaine addiction.
Speaking to New York Daily News' Confidenti@l page, he said: "I don't think it's a problem with me and him. She [Khloé] was in love and grew out of love, for whatever reasons. I never ask. I never try to know. I just worry about me and her."

Meanwhile, French - whose real name is Karim Kharbouch - has shot down rumours he's using Khloé, 30, and her family's reality TV show 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' to boost his level of fame.

He explained: "Honestly, we never even think about it. Obviously hers is a bigger fan base because they've been on [television] for about 10 years and this ['Keeping Up With the Kardashians'] is the biggest show ever. But I don't pay attention to that kind of stuff."
Kanye to build church for Kim

Kanye West wants to build Kim Kardashian West her own church.
The 'No Church in the Wild' hitmaker, who married the 33-year-old beauty in Italy in May, is reportedly planning to create a dramatic $5 million cathedral for the reality TV's family, so they can host future weddings and baptisms there away from prying eyes.

A source told the National Enquirer: "They want somewhere that weddings and baptisms and family funerals can take place for years to come.
"But Kanye being Kanye, it's going to be ludicrously over the top."

The 'Yeezus' rapper is a huge fan of the famous unfinished cathedral La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, which has been under construction since 1882.

Khloé's lookalike for French Montana
Khloé Kardashian wanted her boyfriend French Montana to hire lookalikes of her sisters Kim and Kourtney and best friend Malika Haqq to model in his new music video for his track 'Don't Panic.'

The reality TV star reportedly "insisted" only two other women star alongside her in the rapper's new 'Don't Panic' clip, but they had to resemble one of her siblings Kim or Kourtney and her best friend Malika Haqq.
A source, who was on the video set in New Jersey in July, told the MailOnline: "A bunch of video models showed up to be in the video, but Khloé wasn't having it. She kept insisting to the director that one girl resemble her sister Kim or Kourtney, and one must resemble her best friend, Malika. She got nearly perfect matches of [the] girls. This girl looked exactly like Malika and the other looked exactly like Kim."
However, the 30-year-old beauty - who filed for divorce from her ex-husband Lamar Odom last year following rumours he cheated on her - also ran checks on the models before allowing them on set with her boyfriend.
The source explained: "Khloé made sure her management co-ordinated with the director and production team to make sure the girls playing her best friends in the video had good reputations."
Meanwhile, Khloé's appearance in the music video doesn't come until the very end when she takes off her clown mask after pretending to terrorise a group of pals.
Speaking of the brunette beauty's appearance, French, 29, said previously: "It's the first video she ever did and it got a little spike."
The couple have been dating since April and it is believed French is planning to propose to her in the near future.

Kim - who has 13-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - first began compiling self-taken images during a trip to Thailand with her family so she could make a "sexy" book for her spouse and was so thrilled by the results, she decided it would be the perfect addition to her product line, which also includes clothing, beauty products and a mobile app.

Speaking on her reality show, she said: "It ended up turning out so cool that we came up with this idea to do a book, a selfie book.
"And so, I'm going to make some super-racy. I mean, every girl takes full pictures of their [rear] in the mirror ... I might share some of them."
